About the Workshop:
This four day course covers basic / advanced satellite communications, as well as the principles behind current state-of-the-art satellite communications equipment. New and promising technologies will be covered to develop an understanding of the major approaches. Material will be complemented with continuously evolving examples of the application of systems engineering practice to up-to-date satellite communication systems.
The example will address issues from the highest system architecture down to component details.

Dr Ali Javed Hashmi has over 22 years’ experience in R&D of Aerospace equipment. Specifically, in design and development of Satellite Applications products including Satellite Communication Systems, he has over 13 years of experience. He has worked with Jet Propulsion Lab NASA for 05 years on design and analysis of Novel Architectures for futuristic broadband Deep Space Communication Systems. He has completed a number of R&D projects and product developments. His fields of interest are Radar and Microwave Systems, Free Space Optical Communication Systems, Statistical Digital Signal Processing Algorithms, and Energy Efficient and conservation Systems.
