U.S. Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy organized International Conference on Sustainable Energy in Pakistan

National University of Science & Technology’s U.S. Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy inaugurated the 2 day International Conference on Sustainable Energy in Pakistan. International Speakers from the universities of USA Norway, South Africa, Switzerland, Malaysia, UK, and Pakistan participated in the conference and presented their research work and provided the solutions in the sector of the energy crisis.

The chief guest of the event was Mr. Omer Ayub Khan, Federal Minister for Power. The main objective of the conference is to develop and strengthen industry, academia and government collaboration to address energy challenges.

USPCAS-E is a program being jointly implemented by NUST and University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar. The Vice-Chancellor of UET Peshawar talked to University Times and elaborated about the conference.

The inaugural was concluded with the shield distribution to the guests of the ceremony.
